Early Life and Education
Jake Jakubowski was born on September 16, 1973 at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States. He was born under the name David Crnkovich. He was born with the birth defect clubfoot and underwent three surgeries to get his feet straight. At the age of seven, along with his two siblings, he was adopted into the Jakubowski family. Now with the name David Jakubowski (Pronounced Jake-ah-bow-ski), Jake took his family's nickname as his stage name: Jake Jakubowski. In 1992 Jake graduated high school at the age of 17 from Simsbury High School, in Simsbury, Connecticut. During the years of 1998 through 1999, Under the tutelage of Professor Robert Kagan, Jake studied video editing at Manchester Community College in Manchester, CT U.S.
Early Career (Video)
In the year 2000, Jake became a director of a local shopping TV show that aired on cable for a subsidiary of Cox Communications called Cox Media Group (Formerly Cable Rep Advertising). The title of the show was "The Cox Shopping Kart".
Career (Web Design)
Between the years of 1998 and 2012 Jake was a freelance web designer under the name iCONN Creations in located in Connecticut. Since 1998 Jake has been a freelance web designer under the name Maine Street Web Design.
In 2022 Jake Jakubowski started producing and directing documentaries. His first film is titled THE MAYOR: A Chronicle of Williams Syndrome, with Josh Duffy and is available on YouTube
